Compounded Sublingual Semaglutide

in SubMagna HMW™

What is SubMagna HMW™?

This oil-based vehicle, created by PCCA, was designed expressly to improve the way high molecular-weight (HMW) drugs, such semaglutide, are absorbed into the bloodstream through the mucosal lining of the mouth.

SubMagna HMW may be able to transfer peptides—like semaglutide—into and through human gingival and oral tissue, according to recent in vitro tissue models.

Semaglutide, and other similar medications, have seen unprecedented demand globally, leading to widespread shortages. In addition, most of these medications are delivered via syringe, which may create complications for patients.

The only oral formulation available, Rybelsus®, is estimated to reach no more than 1% absorption through the stomach, lowering its efficacy. Sublingual delivery avoids these issues and allows for much greater absorption.

Why deliver semaglutide sublingually?

Our compounded formulation of sublingual semaglutide contains just two major ingredients--Rybelsus® and SubMagna HMW™--and flavoring. As this is a prescription item, please discuss with your doctor if this option might be right for you. You may also call us with any additional questions.
